2021 Cortada Alta Vineyard Pinot Noir
The Cortada Alta Vineyard has consistently produced some truly special wines from the Santa Lucia Highlands, and the 2021 is no exception. The long, extended growing season at Cortada Alta creates a wine with unmatched intensity and complexity. The nose opens with a beautiful bouquet of fresh plum, pomegranate, dried lavender, fall leaves and French oak. The jammy palate is replete with flavors of blackberry compôte, Asian spice, morel mushrooms and roasted black tea. Lush acidity a tannic fish suggest the '21 Cortada Alta Pinot will develop nicely for many years to come.
