2017 Peterson Vineyard Pinot Noir
Handcrafted by renowned winemaker Ed Kurtzman, the Mansfield-Dunne 2017 Peterson Vineyard Pinot Noir contains a mix of all 5 clones planted in the vineyard (828, Pommard (05), 667, 777, and 115). The wine was aged in French oak (75% new) for 10 months before bottling. Fresh leather, graphite, and the classic Peterson Vineyard spice are balanced with ripe strawberries, violets, and bright vanilla on the nose. Firm tannins shape an undeniably Central Coast palate with dense oak and a long, lifted finish. This wine will drink well from 2020 through 2026.
