Planted in 2007, our namesake Peterson Vineyard’s perfect proximity to the Salinas River imparts cool climate characteristics on its wines. The cool ocean influenced climate leads to fog in the morning, giving way to midday sunshine and cool afternoon winds. Its terroir is quintessential Santa Lucia Highlands, but its distinct location leads to wines of character, precision and nuance.
